Feedback Recycling existed from 1988-1992. The trio started as a grindcore band but soon developed into a more open-minded math/rock/metal band. Feedback Recycling toured extensively, sharing the stage with bands such as Flipper, AxCx, Godflesh, Kong, and others. The band released a demo tape, a 7″EP and a 7″Split EP with Mutant Gods on Ecocentric Records, plus some compilation tracks.
Feedback Recycling combined progressive song structures with socially conscious lyrics and an anti-capitalist attitude, mixing a hardcore outlook with a tongue-in-cheek view of the then-new death metal genre.
After the band split up all members remained active musicians, playing in bands such as Hinterlandt, Professor, Snob Club, No Mandate, Suckspeed, Hanns-Martin Slayer, Die Auch, Ilse Lau, Buckethead (the German band), Diametrics, Burned Out, Home of the Lame, Von Wegen, Numbfire, Pukkah!, Frisieren and many other projects.
All songs recorded by Frank "Schotte" Stierstorfer.
